ABOUT FRANCIS

Francis Kimbowa holds an Honours Degree in Tourism from Makerere University, East Africa, and a Master’s Degree in Land Use and Regional Development Planning. With over 15 years of experience in institutional leadership, tourism management, and consultancy, Francis has demonstrated exceptional expertise in his field.

As the Managing Director and Head of Operations, Francis oversees the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring seamless operations and effective management. His leadership has been instrumental in guiding two major tourism organizations in Uganda and Rwanda to success.

In addition to his corporate role, Francis serves as a part-time Lecturer in Tourism at Makerere University, the oldest and most prestigious university in East and Central Africa south of the Sahara. His academic position equips him with contemporary insights into tourism and hospitality, enabling him to recruit highly skilled and talented staff for the business.

An accomplished communicator with outstanding sensitization and team-building skills, Francis also contributes as an editorial writer for the Uganda/Rwanda/Congo/Burundi section of Herbote.com, a trusted global source for country information.

Francis brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and leadership to the tourism sector, making him an invaluable asset to the company and the wider industry.
