About Savannah Lodges
Savannah Lodges oversees four properties:
Buffalo Safari Lodge: A 20-room property in Queen Elizabeth National Park, with abundant wildlife and a private lake offering a unique wilderness experience.
Evra Inc.: A square mile of commercial forestry land in Mubende District, Uganda.
The Cinnamon: A private lodge under development on Entebbe Road, planned for completion in 2022.
NADIVA Apartments: A portfolio of residential properties located in major cities across East Africa.

Buffalo Safari Lodge
Located just 1 km off Kasese-Mbarara Road at Katunguru Bridge, Buffalo Safari Lodge offers spectacular views of the Kazinga Channel and the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Guests are immersed in a serene environment featuring rich flora and fauna, including elephants, buffalos, hippos, warthogs, and numerous bird species. The lodge boasts experienced staff, expansive green areas, and a lounge with stunning views of Lake Rubirizi and the nearby Kazinga Channel.

Buffalo Safari Lodge is situated at Katunguru Bridge in Rubirizi District, part of Bushenyi, within Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Lodge Description
Total Number of Rooms: 20
- 14 Classic Cottages and 6 Deluxe Cottages
- 8 Double Rooms (Each with one king-size bed)
- 9 Twin Rooms (Each with two king-size beds)
- 3 Family Houses (Each with 3 king-size beds and a living area)
Flexibility: Four double rooms can convert to twin rooms, and two can be made triples.
Capacity: Accommodates 45-50 guests at full occupancy.
The lodge is surrounded by wildlife, including buffalos, elephants, hippos, and waterbucks, which frequently visit the nearby water hole. Guests are treated to the nocturnal sounds of hyenas, lions, and hippos, enhancing the wilderness experience. Spanning 25 acres, the property offers access to lakes Edward and George, a rustic restaurant, and a private lake—creating a unique and memorable stay in the wild.
